TELEVISION, FILM AND NEW MEDIA PRODUCTION MAJOR

Impacted program. The Television, Film and New Media production major is designated as an impacted program. Students first declare as TFM pre-majors. To be considered for admission to the major the student must submit a petition portfolio and meet the following criteria:
- Complete Theatre 100 and TFM 160 with a grade of B or higher. These courses may not be taken for credit/no credit (Cr/NC). These classes must be completed, with grades on file, prior to petitioning to be accepted into the major.
- Complete a personal statement to be evaluated by the TFM faculty.
- Submit two letters of recommendation to be evaluated by the faculty
- Complete a minimum of 15 transferable semester units.
- Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher.
- Submit samples of creative work.
- Submit a treatment for a 1-3 min production (fiction or nonfiction).
- Submit unofficial transcripts from all colleges attended.
