Major in Theatre Arts

PERFORMANCE EMPHASIS

Course Requirements for the 2007-2008 Undergraduate Catalog

The Theatre Arts major is an impacted program. Students are first admitted as pre-majors, and must meet the following criteria:

  • . Complete Theatre 100, 107 or 120, and 130 with a grade of C or higher
  • . Complete a minimum of 30 transferable semester units
  • . Have a cumulative GPA of 2.4 or higher
  • . Complete Theatre 110, 231 and 332 with a GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • . Have a written positive review from the instructor of 332, AND
  • . All Performance Emphasis pre-majors and majors are required to participate in general auditions each semester.
