Jay oversees the stage management, and production management areas of for the School of Theatre, Television, and Film.  Additionally, Jay serves as Associate Producer for the school’s annual Theatre of the World Festival which is committed to bringing international, innovative theatre for young people to San Diego every February. The festival has attracted performing arts groups from Sweden, Spain, Argentina, and New York, as well San Diego States Children’s Drama Program.

Jay is an Equity stage manager, having spent 8 years at the Old Globe, and two years as the Production Stage Manager for Forever Plaid at the Theatre in Old Town.  Jay’s other jaunts around San Diego have found him as the Director of Production and Operations for the San Diego Symphony, Director of Operations for House of Blues, overseeing the 20,000 seat Coors Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, and currently serves as Vice President of Production for Viejas Entertainment, a Native American concert promotion and production company where he oversees three major concert venues in San Diego.
