Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Lisa has worked extensively as an actor, director, acting coach and teacher for many years.  As an actor, she has performed on a variety of San Diego stages including:  San Diego Repertory Theatre, Lambs Players Theatre, Theatre in Old Town, Starlight Musical Theatre, and North Coast Repertory Theatre.  She has also performed at many regional theatres throughout California, such as: Santa Rosa Repertory Theatre, Sierra Repertory Theatre, and PCPA Theatrefest, to name a few. 

In addition to performing, Lisa has directed and assistant-directed at:  North Coast Repertory Theatre, Diversionary Theatre, J* Company and the San Diego Actors Festival, as well as SDSU, Grossmont College, Saddleback College, the Young Actors Workshop in San Francisco, and Belvoir Center for the Performing Arts in Lenox, MA. 

Lisa holds an MFA degree in Musical Theatre from SDSU.  She is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association and a Professional Member of the Actors Alliance of San Diego.  She is married to actor, Ryan Drummond, and together they run a professional acting-coaching business.  She currently teaches “Theatre for Young Audiences” at SDSU and heads the Musical Theatre Program at Grossmont College.
